Corporate Membership

Advancing Women provides corporate membership and exclusive access to women employees within the same organisation.

Members can build networks, share information, experiences and knowledge with their colleagues, learn from their senior executives, find mentors and create more social connections.

Organisations can purchase an annual subscription based on a sliding fee scale and the number of women employees.

TIER ONE Includes:

= Set up of site

  • Providing all members with user access and passwords
  • Customising the site to include the profile of your executive team, your corporate logo, and members’ home page
  • Including any corporate specific information

= Launch event

  • Design, scoping and coordinating event with corporate staff
  • Briefing executive sponsors of event
  • Facilitating the event and presenting the website to attendees
  • Promotional material
  • (Venue hire and catering is not included)

= Access to all on-line resources

= Monthly reporting

  • Statistics and usage
  • Confidential advice – issues and departmental data to assist manage potential issues.
  • Observations and feedback

Tier One is only recommended for organisations with less than 100 members as events are essential to keep women engaged and connected. Events can be organised by members themselves and panel members can be engaged independently of The May Group.

FEE STRUCTURE

Organisations purchase a minimum six month subscription, paid monthly or in advance, based on their service tier and number of women employees.

All members have access to

  • 5 on-line e-modules (which will grow to 20)
  • Expert coaching and advice
  • Confidential support
  • Facilitated events
  • Networks and mentors

Our conservative estimate of the annual value of the equivalent education, coaching and support provided to each member is $7,500 per person.

Subscription to Advancing Women is a fraction of this cost and represents outstanding value.

What about the men in our organisation?

Our mission is to empower women to achieve their potential and increase their representation in positions of leadership and power.

Currently the proportion of women in executive positions across Australia’s top 200 companies is 8.6% and this has declined in recent years. In addition, women are still only earning 87% of their male colleague’s salaries.

Part of the reason for the disparity is that organisations work better for men than they do for women.

Men typically instinctively know how to navigate hierarchies and because they’re the majority in senior positions within most organisations, they have greater access to networks, mentors and opportunities to advance their careers.

Advancing Women is a powerful resource to level the playing field and assist women navigate organisations as well as their male colleagues so that everyone can benefit from an engaged and participative workforce, better decision making and outcomes.

While membership is currently only open to women, corporate subscriptions provide opportunities for men to attend events and access some of our training modules.

Additionally, The May Group provides supplementary services that target the whole workforce and are geared towards developing a values aligned, inclusive workplace culture.
